As indicated in an earlier response to your message, the Likens in America many are descended from Swedish Brothers who who settled in New Sweden (Pa) by l660 My ancestor Hans Lycan (note spelling of Lycan, there is a Lycan family page on Gen Forum) had moved to Wilkes Co. NC area by l750.
