My grandfather, Carlos Lima; emigrated to the US with his father when three years old via Columbus, New Mexico, in 1863. I do not have much data on his father or mother. He married my Grandmother, Dominga Ortiz; about 1910. They lived in Silver City, NM; and in Arizona, prior to relocating to Chatsworth, CA, in the mid 1920's. The family does have records with additional information. I've also heard the references regarding Italian and Portugese ancestors. I do remember the first name of Carlos Lima's father started with the letter "M." Hope to hear from you soon. Vince Lima
