Dear Wendy,
Would you please tell me more about the Lima Family. I believe what you said about the Portuguese and Brasilian Monarchies to be a plausible explanation for my Lima ancestors, they also were given "Sesmarias Land allotments in the Capitania de Pernambuco im Brasil." The problem is, that thru the centuries, documents got misplaced and estories got told only in parts and so
you see,for me (living in the USA) tracing these ancestors became somewhat difficult.
Would you please help me?
Please reply by e-mail to:
schrffs@prodigy.net
My name is Rosalice Scherffius.
My maternal grandmother's name:Maria Alice
Duarte Lima.
What is your name?
If I can be of any help to you, please let me know. Thank you very much,
Rosalice
