My great grandfather, Emanuel Lima, was from Graciosa...probably the village of Funais. I do not know his birthdate, but I estimate it would have been around 1850's. One of his sons, Jose Correia Lima, was my grandfather. The only other information I have regarding Emanuel is that he was fair complected with blue eyes and redish/blond hair (I even have a color photograph of him).

If you think he may be related to Januaria (possibly siblings?), let me know and maybe we can exchange information. Good luck in your research.
