Liming Family Genealogy Forum
I am the granddaughter of Harold Byrtle(Byrt) Liming, Sr. I am looking for anyone who may have more information on him. He was born january 27, 1901 in Camden, NJ and died february 18, 1969. His burial site is in the New Camden Cemetery in Camden, NJ. I have his obituary from the Courier-Post, but I didn't give me any clues other than his wife Grace (neeBurton) proceeded him to the grave and the funeral home and burial place. They are both buried in the same cemetery, but I didn't get anymore info. The cemetery is closed and in the care of Camden Public Works and is not in good condition. The funeral home was B.C. Schroeder and Sons at 715 Cooper Street, Camden, NJ, however they are out of business and Camden County Library is trying to see if they can find anything on them. I am sending for his death certificate and his Social Security Application but it will be some time since I am on limited income. I hope to post any new information when I can get these records. There is a Harold B. Liming living with his parents Henry N. and Ella M. Liming at 541 Ray Street, Camden, NJ. My mother was born in june, 1941 and on her birth certificate it says that there was 3 other living children at the time of her birth. We only knew of 2, so there is another sibling that we are looking for. We have no official name but have been told that their name may have been Betty. We would like to find this person. Harold and Grace were living at 909 N. 2nd Street, Camden, NJ, when my mother was born in 1941. I believe that my great-grandfather's parents were Abraham and Elizabeth Liming on the 1880 US Census for Philadelphia City, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania. Both were age 30 at the time of the census, Henry was about 2-3 years old. If anyone has any info that might be of help to me would you please contact me either here or by my email address. Thank you.
