Bill,
I'm not certain who the parents of Thomas Liming (husband of Elizabeth Anderson) are. There was several "Thomas's" in the early Leaming family in New Jersey.
In your query, you mention that the Thomas Liming who married Elizabeth Anderson died in July, 1786. However, this same death date has also been shown for Thomas Leaming "of Upper Freehold," husband of Sarah Salter. This particular "Thomas," husband of Sarah Salter, is documented as haveing died sometime between 1785 and 1790 (per will of Thomas Salter of Philadelphia). I have attempted a few times to find the source for the "July 1786" date, but have came up with nothing. I also don't know which "Thomas" the death date belongs to.
Also, there was another "Thomas" - Thomas Leming "of Shrewsbury" who left a will dated Dec. 1771, probated April 1772. This Thomas was married to Hannah (Salter?). Hannah left a will dated (and probated) in 1773, mentioning "Sarah, wife of Thomas Leaming of Upper Freehold" and some of their (i.e. Thomas and Sarah's) children. As you can see, it is very difficult to determine which "Thomas" was the son of John Leming and Dinah DeWilde, especially when we don't know all the facts.
I think the "Thomas" who was married to Elizabeth Anderson died in 1782 (if I recall). There was an inventory that year taken for a Thomas Leming mentioning his wife, "Elizabeth" - I ASSUME this was Elizabeth Anderson?
