Thank you for the info on your Lincoln family.
One never knows when and where the next clue will show up.
I do not have the 1810 Boston Census Record showing Othneil French and household.Where did you find that info? Can you send the complete data to me?
I had thought that with such an unusual name, he would be easy to find - not so.I have BUT NOT PROVED:
Othneil French Born in Boston
Married Hannah Carrey10/27/1793Boston
1798 Renting a house owned by Henry Dix, Prince St, Boston
Buried at Copp's Hill, Boston (no date given)
3 Deaths recorded in Boston:
Othneil French 1/22/1826 age 59
Othneil French 9/20/1828 age 35
Othneil French 3rd 7/30/1821 age 13 mos
A Hannah Frenchdied 9/1794 age 21.Unlikely Hannah (Carrey) French if she had a daughter Hannah born ca 1805.

The widow of George W Acres:
Hannah (French) Acres died 1/8/1888 160 Saratoga St, Boston, MA ; aged 87y 2m 5d, daughter of Othneil and Hannah French, both born at Boston.
George Acres / Akers belongs the Sailmaker family of Boston and Malden. It was George Acres' and Hannah French's daughter, Hannah Maria Acres that married Ebenezer Lincoln.
Any additional info that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
