This is what I have from a family book concerning George:William told Katharina that his father, George had been a blacksmith and wagon maker. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison for making the tools, such as pick axes and other instruments for the use of the wrecking of the castle. He lost many of his customers due to his imprisonment.
In Hazelton he found work in a coal mine. He disliked it very much, homesick for his blacksmith shop. When winter set in, he took sick with a cold and a high fever. The doctor called it lung fever.Within a week he passed away.
