My mother was Ethel Eileen Linderman, b 1912 in N.D.
Her father was Charles Madison Linderman, b 1869 in MN, mother Selma Regina Nelson, b 1876 in MN.
Charles' father was George W. Linderman, mother Sarah Pew; both of N.Y.
George's father was Jacob Linderman, mother Catharine Compton; Jacob's father was Cornelius, mother Anna Young;
Cornelius' father was Johann Jacob Lindeman, mother Catharine McLean.
I've been able to connect the dots via the LDS website back to a Justus Lindemann, b abt. 1640 in Dachrieden, Thuringen, Germany.
Has anyone been able to make a connection between that Justus and Margaretha Lindemann, mother of Martin Luther?
Margaretha's father was Johannes Lindemann b abt. 1427, mother Margaretha Ziegler.
