Hello,
I was working on my Tallent/Tallant line and discovered a possible Lindsay connection. Now I need to follow this line and see where it leads me. I am just starting, so the birth dates may not be completely accurate.
Starting with my grandparents:
Lulla L. Davenport(MO)/Linzy W. W. Kanmore (AR)
Robert H. Davenport (1855-IL)/Roxie Ann Jordan (1873-MO)
Absalom Davenport (NC/TN)/Matilda Tallent (b1834)
James Tallent (b1804)/Elizabeth Story
Jonathan Tallent (b1772)/Fanny Soward (1770)
Aaron Tallent (b1725)/Sarah Jane Lindsay(b1725-MD)
William Lindsay (b1700-VA/Jane Chew (b1700-VA))
Caleb Lindsay (b1664-VA)/Clare Daniels (b1666-VA)
This begins the Scottish part of the line(does anyone have information about who was the first Lindsay to arrive in America?):
James Lindsay ((b1623-Scotland)/_________________
Jerome Lindsay (1565)/Margaret Colville (b1575)
David (b1455)/Jonette Ramsey (B1535)
I know there is more, but I wanted to see if anyone connects with me part of this line!
