This just in! -- Ella's full name was Ella Josephine, born in 1857 (not 1858). Mary's full name was Mary Sophronia,. They had a brother: George Elton Linebarger, born in 1861.
They were indeed raised by George Linebarger, who became their Guardian.
In 1880, the three children of Daniel, filed a "Declaration for Pension," from Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska. Ella signed using her married name of Wilbur, and Mary signed using her married name of Healey.
Does anyone have any information on these three children of Daniel Linebarger?
