My Great Grandfather was Jacob Linebarger and is buried in a cemetary near Leander, Texas with my father and some of his brothers (Jacob's brothers). My Jacob was married in Caney Branch, Tenn. One of his many brothers went to Arizona and was never heard from again.

My Jacob Linebarger could be the son of the Jacob you are looking for. Not sure, my records are not close at hand. I know that they were located in Tenn. and that the Civil War caused a great split in the Linebarger Clans and many refused to speak/relate to each other.

Alfred Linebarger is in my extended family group.

Ron Linebarger
