My gg grandfather Peter Linebarger, who died in Independence Co. Ark in 1866 had a younger sister named Lavinia who was born about 1839. Their parents were Jacob and Sarah Linebarger who immigrated to Arkansas from Lincoln County, N.C. around 1838-39. Jacob had 8 children. The oldest was Absalom born about 1821 in Lincoln Co., then Peter born about 1823. Absalom and Peter both married in 1845 Brundrett girls. Harriet and Mary Ann Brundrett. Another son was Martin born about 1833. Jacob had 5 daughters, Margaret, Susannah, Sarah (who married a Brundrett boy named Francis), Firtina and the youngest Lavinia.
Jacob died in 1848 and there's a will on file in Ark. Sarah died a few years later. Absalom farmed and Peter and Martin blacksmithed together. Margaret married William Peg, Susannah married Lewis Grady and I hadn't known who Firtina or Lavinia married. But with the same year of birth and county I'm sure it's the same Lavinia.
From what I know Jacob's father was Peter Linebarger who died in Lincoln Co, N.C. in 1802. Hope this fills in some blanks.
