Nita, this T.M. Lingo you are talking about is Tyre Martin Lingo, he is my great great great-grandfather, Juli Claussen has done extensive research on our Lingo family and according to her sources,Tyre served in the 63rd Regiment from Missouri, enlisting at Rolla, Missouri on Oct. 1, 1864, but was discharged due to injury on Oct. 24, 1864. He is described as having hazel eyes, dark hair, and a dark complexion. You can find a Biographical Sketch of Tyre M. Lingo, Texas County, MO http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mo/texas/bios/l5200010.txt Hope this helps.
