Isaac Smith Lingo was the son of Samuel Sanders and Sarah Smith. He was born in Tennessee. His first wife was Elizabth Parish, she died about 1850 and he married Dianiah Pippen and had several more children. I have not come across the Ike as a name for him. His grandfather was James Lingo born in Delaware in 1780 and Died in Macon Co Missouri in 1859. I have not been able to trace James Parents.Isaacs daughter Francis Angeline Lingo married my great grandfather Benjamin Franklin White in 1866.Check the 1850 Macon Co Census for Isaac Smith Lingo with Elizabeth .Isaac and Anne are buried in Mulberry Fanin Co Texas. It was a town between 1880 and 1910.
