Terry, I have no reason to not believe that Thomas Butler and Sarah Lingo are the parents of Robinson Lingo Butler. It appears that Robinson Lingo may have been killed in the Rev. War as he made a will before leaving Snow Hill, MD naming only his siblings, no mention of parents. He never returned so it is thought he was killed.

My work on the Lingo family has just begun, I have had a lot of unanswered questions about my early Butler family therefore when I saw the will of Robinson Lingo Butler I felt that if I can solve who this family is maybe I will have a break through in the Butlers, that hasn't happened yet. for more on the Lingo family email me. <santaman@ezy.net>
