Hi I've been looking for any info. on my great great grandfather, his name was Howard Lingo. I was told he was orphaned young, his father was a merchant seaman and his mother remarried. He was taken to a College in Philly which educated underprivilaged children of every race. It's called Gerard College. For some reason he changed his last name to Moore. He had a son named Robert Moore born abt. 1880/1890 who married Elizabeth (Betty) Van Brunam. If any one can help, thanks.
Megan
