My name is Joseph Smith. My mother's maiden name is Lois Lingo. My grandfather's name was Elijah Wesley Lingo who married Lillie Holland. His father and mother and my Great Granparents name was John Wesley & Sallie Lingo. They are all buried @ Concord Baptist Cemetary app. 2.5 miles Southwest of Newville, Al. on C.R. 73. The answer to your question is that John & Sallie's headstone is very much visible and it is a raised copin. When you go into the gate of cemetary, it is in the back left corner. He had a sister that is buried next to him; my mother's aunt Eula Powers. That was my mother's close cousin Edna Lee Arnold's mother. I'm sure that mother said she had a sister named Florence that I think (but not sure) lived in Texas. I've been to this cemetary many times so I know what I'm talking about and live only 3 miles from there.
