Thanks for posting those very interesting links.

I'm just getting started in this research. It's becoming more and more interesting. I'm finding that most of the records I find spell the family name "Linn" but occasionally it shows up as "Lynn" even for the same person.

Not surprisingly, I've traced the line back to Londonderry, Ulster, in the late 1700's but that is where I have "hit the wall".
