I don't know how it is that I never saw this post before, but I am very familiar with this family and with all three of the books that have been mentioned: Dr. George Wilds Linn's "The Clan Linn," Roger Linn's "The Clan Linn in the Twentieth Century," and Beulah Wall's book on the Widneys.I in fact wrote a couple of articles for Roger's 1993 book.Anyway, in case you haven't realized it in the meantime, Concord is in Franklin County, not Huntingdon. Some of the Linns moved to Huntingdon County, but that is not where Concord is.I've been to the Concord Union Cemetery in Franklin County and seen the graves of Hugh and Sarah Linn and their son John Linn.
I am descended through John's son and daughter-in-law Hugh and Mary Ann (Saylor) Linn, who settled in Robinsonville, Bedford County. All that is left now of Robinsonville is a church and graveyard, but it is near Clearville.I'd be happy to hear from other descendants of this family, particularly of Hugh and Mary Ann.
