Adam Lynn of Davidson Co., TN
I descend from Thomas Byrd b. ca 1750 and died in 1805 in Robertson County, Tennessee. He married Jane, surname unknown.She was b. ca 1750 and died in 1809 in Robertson County, Tennessee.
In land deeds of Davidson County, Tennessee 1783-1792 Vol. One had the following:

This indenture made between John Shannon and Adam Lynn, both of Davidson County, John Shannon conveyed unto Adam Lynn all that tract of land in Davidson County on the Shanes Fork of Gaspers Creek, being part of Morris Shane's Preemption the southwest corner containing 40 acres.Proven by Francis Byrd and Ed Williams.
Vol. B, pg. 118Thos. Byrd -NC- Aug. 4, 1790
This indenture made between Adam Lynn and Thos. Byrd, both of Davidson County.Adam Lynn conveyed unto Thos. Byrd a tract of land containing 50 acres in Davidson County on Shanes Fork of Gaspers Creek, it being the land where on the said Byrd now lives.
Test: Andrew Ewing.July Term 1790.
The above may indicate that Jane was a Lynn and that her father purchased the land they lived on and then deeded it to her and Thos. Byrd.
