On sunday 16 th july 1944 an halifax 298 raf sqdn rcaf was shot down in my area normandy where i used to live from 1930 to 1946 A flying officer radio operator was killed with all the members of the crew
William edward Linning was 24 years ,son of William and kitty May Linning of Lethbridge Alberta
Iknow nothing about him but i don't forget he died for our liberty I know the cicumstances of the crash He is inhumed in bretteville sur laize canadian war cemetery normandy south of caen calvados regards Thanks in advance for an eventuel reply Roger cornevin- hayton
