Elias House, Cabarrus County, N.C....Yeah, I have two readings on him; one he died in 1826 in Alabama; another he was buried in Illinois. One time he went to Illinois with two sons of his and that was before his death. So, let's put it all together...say that he did die in Alabama, and his body was taken to Illinois, where a lot of the House family is buried, especially those connected with him, with Mark House, and with many of the Barringer. As a matter of fact I have seen Lipe families in the southern Illinois part.By the way, what was so special about Southern Illinois back then?
