I just encountered some Kig William Lipcombe's last week-end. Here's a bunch of tidbits. I have no history on the Lipscombe's. It seems the grandfather of a distant relative was married to Lettice Lipscombe daughter of Ambrose, back in early 1700's and I just came across it. Here's some "stuff." 1) King William Co. Taxable Land - 1782 Lipscombe: Ambrose Ann Benoni Bernard Charles Daniel Elizabeth George Hesiah James James Jane John Josiah Mary Nunn 2) Ambrose Lipscombe died ~ 1699. His cildren were -William, John and three sisters, Lettice, wife of Martin Slaughter, Dorothy wife of Abraham Willeroy and another whose name was not given. It was certain there was an older son, Ambrose, who was not listed in this record." I have documentation on this if you want it.
