Hi, Marge -

William Cavanah Lisman (1818-1893) and Mary Elizabeth Rice (1824-1886) had 12 children. Laban Calvin Lisman was #9. Noah Franklin Lisman, the baby of the family, was #12.

Anything I can help you with? I've posted a 120 year old photo of Laban's wife -- Virginia Frances Rice, my great grandfather's sister -- on the Webster County, KY genweb site. The Rices and Lismans have intermarried quite often in that area north of Providence, KY. Genealogy around there can get quite confusing, more of a briar patch than a family tree. Everybody is everybody else's cousin!

Charles
