Steamboat captains Frank, John, Fred Littrell

Historian studying steamboat captain B. Frank Littrell, wife Elizabeth, children John N., Fred, and Mary Francis Littrell (who married Capt. Pink Varble, famous Falls pilot of Louisville, KY).
Want to share information; Pink Varble married Mary Francis Littrell at Ghent, KY, in 1852. Her brothers John N. and Fred Littrell joined Pink's business and became Falls pilots at Louisville and Jeffersonville, IN. Their father B. Frank Littrell died and buried at Natchez, MS, in 1889. Mother Elizabeth still living 1891. Son John N. Littrell bought Kirkwood Farm on Brownsboro Pike, Louisville, Ky, and raised thoroughbred race horses until his death in 1891. Capt. Fred Littrell lived until late 1890s. Mary Francis Littrell Varble died in 1919. Most of these children were buried at Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, KY.
