Loasby Kettering and London Update
Since I last wrote to this site I have made considerable progress with a lot of help from others.
The starting point is WILLIAM LOASBY b 1808 - 1811 Kettering (possible parents JOHN & SARAH LOASBY, possible brother JOSEPH LOASBY b 11 April 1815 Kettering)) he appears to have married a MARY NORTHONS and their children included
JOSEPH LOASBY b circa 1827 Kettering
ELIZABETH LOASBY b circa 1829
SARAH LOASBY b circa 1831
THOMAS LOASBY b circa 1833
EMMA LOASBY b circa 1835
ELIZABETH LOASBY b circa 1837
WILLIAM LOASBY b circa 1839
FANNY MARTHA LOASBY b circa 1845
JOSEPH LOASBY married SARAH SIMMONS (SIMONDS) 17 Oct 1848 Kettering they had a son WILLIAM LOASBY born 4th Q 1848 Kettering. They then moved to East London, Mark House Common and then Clapton where the rest of their family were born and raised.
It appears likely that THOMAS and WILLIAM joined JOSEPH in London.
THOMAS appears to have married a JANE and had a number of children in PONDERS END but appears to have returned to Kettering sometime between 1873 and 1876 before moving to Broughton.
WILLIAM appears to have married AMELIA MARIA CLARKSON 11 May 1873 and had there first child AMELIA EMILY LOASBY in Shoreditch before moving to Walworth in South London
The daughters appear to have remained in Kettering
SARAH may have married BENJAMIN JOHNSON
FANNY may have married JOSEPH POTTER
Any more info on this part of the Loasby tree would be most welcome.
