Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
My connection is through Maria Tomotea Villalobo. Her father was Juan Jose Lobo, mother Maria Nicolasa Beltran. They were from Sinoloa, MX. They went on the expedition to San Buenaventura, went to San Gabriel and ended up in San Diego (my branch of the family, anyway). I've seen the name spelled Lobo and Villalobo, so you might want to check both. Where in Southern California are you looking? The family became scattered, as I wrote before. Ventura, San Gabriel, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and San Diego. The males of this family were: Jose Pedro (b. 1781, Sinola, MX) m. Maria Bernarda Silvas. Don't know were they settled.; Jose Marcial (b. 30 June 1790, Los Angles) m. Dominga Serrano, ended up in San Diego. The remainder of their children were female.
If you have found any information on this family any help would be appreciated.
