My ancestors are Isaac Clement d'Azevedo Lobo and his wife Lillian Alicia Theodora Boyle. They were my maternal great-grandparents, who lived in Barbados.

I always understood by family hearsay that the early Lobo settlers to Barbados came from Madeira, as did many other Portuguese settlers. My paternal great-grandparents also came from Madeira, settling in Trinidad.

I am currently trying to trace my Lobo family, and would appreciate hearing from anyone with a similar interest.

Valerie
