He was born about 1826, and he is in no way related to me that I know of. I came across his pension when looking for someone else's and thought someone may be interested in it. You can send to National Archives for it, it will cost you $37 through Nara.gov. It's worth the money because it contains about 130 pages and most pensions don't have that many pages. I will search for the pension number if you want to order it. Let me know. I have it somewhere.
