I am researching my Doel/Lock family tree. This is the information that I have:
Thomas John Doel, b. ?, d. 26 June 1861, Dorset
married Sarah Lock (also spelled Locke but incorrectly according to the records I have); no date.
Sarah Lock b. 1789, d. 27 September 1861, Bere Regis, Dorset
Children:
Elizabeth Locke Doel, b. 24 May, 1814
James Locke Doel, b. 21 Aug 1816
John Locke Doel, b. 21 Aug 1816
Philip Doel, b. 18 Jul 1818
William Doel, b. 7 Nov. 1821
Eliza Ann Doel, b. 10 Jun 1824
Charlotte Doel, b. 30 April 1828
Mary Stevens Doel, b. 16 Jan 1835

Charlotte was my gggrandmother. Many of these Doels immigrated to Ashtabula County Ohio.

I am hoping that someone on this list has the Doel/Lock connection that might help me climb higher on the family tree.
