Greetings, Michael! "The Cooley Genealogy, The Descendants of Ensign Benjamin Cooley an early Settler of Springfield and Longmeadow, Massachusetts; and other members of the family in America" by Mortimer Elwyn Cooley was published in 1941 and updated in 1988 by Vivien Bulloch Keatley. The 1988 version with 1199 pages was published by Tuttle Publishing Co in Rutland VT and printed by Whipporwell Publications of Evansville IN. I have copies of both. These have been the backbone of the Cooley history. Correspondence with several other contemporary cousins over the years has been the confirmation backup. There is a large, active "The Cooley Family Association of America" but I let my membership lapse several years ago. I'm sorry, I do not have an address for them anymore. They must have an Internet presence by now. I have a fairly substantial section of Cooley information posted on our family website. This is the branch that Elizabeth LOCK(E) married into. There were three of Joseph's seven children for which I have posterity. If you descend from someone other than Margaret (1841), Nancy (1846) or Thomas Benjamin Frankin (1852), you do have something I would be interested in. If you are inclined, I would be happy to share my URL off-line. My hidden address on GenForum is accurate. Ralph Notify Administrator about this message?
