Locke, Armstrong, Brandon Connections- Pennsylvania

I am interested in hearing from anyone about the Lockes- and Brandons who intermarried with the Armstrong Family of Cumberland Co. Pa- (among others who located there_. The Armstrongs are my family and the Brandons- were probably connnected to the Hamilton family of Scotland- who are also mine- My Armstrongs migrated in 1732 and settled in the LeHigh Valley at Carlisle first- but others had preceded them. Those who migrated down the old Pennsylvania Road were more than likely ancestors of the brothers to my Thomas and were married to the Lapsleys-

Also does anyone know who the parents were of James Locke b 1782 in Virginia and died in Rusk Co. Texas? He is the ancestor of my son-in-law-

I have a lot of information on the Armstrongs, Kennedys, and others who migrated to Tennessee and Rowan/Mecklenburg Co. NC-

Thanks- Lucy Grisham
