I am looking into the Lockard family of Cleburne County, AR. Adam Lockard had a daughter named Margaret who married Luther Calvin Birdsong. Soon after their marriage, they took in an orphan boy named Dee/DeForest Wood/Woods. I have Dee's ancestry if anyone would like it. I'd like to know more about the Lockards. Perhaps a Lockard descendant would known something of this orphan boy being taken in. Dee/DeForest had 4 siblings. I've traced what happened to each of them except for his sister Edna. I'd like to find out what family took her in and connect with anyone who has info on these orphans. Dee/DeForest was a twin and his twin sister DeEtta was taken in by a Cothran family who I believe had ties to the Lockard family also. Please contact me directly at lequia@sbcglobal.net Thanks
