Hi Folks,
Below are the presently recognized Lockliear and Locklear burials at Buck Creek Methodist Church cemetery.Buck Creek is located in the mid-eastern portion of Screven County, Georgia. The church is located at the intersection of GA 24 and Buck Creek Church Road.
I recently visited the cemetery and took pictures of the Lockliear and Locklear burials. These first three burials of infants and a toddler are located immediately in front of the Flythe burial plot. The mother of these children was Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Flythe Locklear, eldest daughter of George Washington Flythe and his second wife Mollie Blount (or Blunt).
