LOCKLEY of Bilston, Wolverhampton

Hi,

I'm trying to trace my Lockley family, but I am having great difficulty. I am unable to track my great grandfather Charles Thomas LOCKLEY on any of the censuses from 1881 - 1901. The 1911 is the only census he seems to show up on.

On the 1911, he is residing in Rotherham, Yorkshire with his wife Mary Ann (nee BRADSHAW) and children: Emma, Eveline and Charles William.

I have however just received his birth certificate. The details are:

Name: Charles Thomas LOCKLEY
Date of Birth: September 20, 1873
Where born: 17, Oxford Street, Bilston.
Reg District: Wolverhampton
County of: Stafford

Mother's Name: Susannah LOCKLEY
Residence: 17, Oxford Street, Bilston
Occupation: Worker on Pit Banks??

Date the birth was registered: September 23, 1873 by Susannah.

If anyone has a connection, or knows anything about this mother and son, I would love to hear from you.

Best Wishes,

Cheryl
