You may already know this, but I believe that Elizabeth Lochstone's mother Ann Randle was married a second tine to an Alexander Southerland aka Sutherland. I own a farm in Nemaha County Kansas that has been in the family since 1872. The abstract shows Alexander and Ann Southerland owned the farm from 1872 to 1873. It was then sold to John Shackleton. The transaction appear to be a family transaction. Elizabeth and her husband moved to Salt LakeCity where he died in 1892. She re-married John Tyler who also had died in 1895 when the farm was transferred to her son John Rodger
