Hi, there are Lockyears in the US. We are located in the Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio region. So far I have found they came around the late 1700's, and there was also Lockyears that came from somewhere in Germany. The first Lockyear to come to the states settled somewhere around what is now Evansville, Indiana. I am stationed in the UK with the USAF. I was very pleased to meet other people with the last name Lockyear. There are not to many in the States.
