I've come across a Division of Lands entry in the book More Records of Hunterdon County, by Phyllis D'Autrchy. It relates to the estate of John Chamberlin, dec'd, in Readington Twp., 1857. One of his heirs (most probably a daughter) is "Susan SODER, dec'd, and son William SODER."
From many years searching my own surname (SOUDERS) in NJ, I find that frequently the initials S and L are misread. I don't think the name of the husband of Susan Chamberlin was SODER - I believe it was LODER. So I'm posting it here for anyone who may be looking for such names.
But, if you come up with a strange LODER/LOUDER/LOUDERS in NJ, send 'em over to me.
