Trying to help my sister find her roots on her moms side (as we have different moms). Not sure of any dates but I've got a handwritten tree on a Richard Loder born abt. 1840. Richard and his wife (?refered to only as Mrs. Loder) had 13 children of which I only have listed a Walter Loder, Zachary Loder (who was prob. a rum runner during the prohibition), Richard Loder, Rae Loder (married to Harry Utter), two other daughters one married to a Walter Weed the other to William A Cras, and John Loder, all still left alive as of 1917 at a renewal of vows on 9/30/1917 for Richard and wife.
Richard was part of Eighth Regiment, Company E of the New Jersey Volunteers during the Civil War. John Loder married an Emma Bolton abt. 1899, I have four children listed:
1. Edwin Cole Loder m-Elizabeth Bridgett Turbitt
2. John Loder
3. Emma Loder m1-Milton Loder(a cousin) m2-John Schaeffer
4. Alice Loder m-Herbert Truhe
My sister decends through Edwin and Elizabeth who had two children one girl-Elizabeth Edna b: 1929-1929 and Edwin Robert Loder b: 2/24/1925, Irvington, NJ- still kicking!
This would be her grandfather. If you have any info it would be greatly appreciated.
