I came across your follow-up posting to Dave from March of 2002 about the Lohner family. Do you know if Phillip Lohner had a son Phillip born around 1853, married to a Victoria? If so, did they have a daughter named Nettie? A Phillip and Victoria Lohner appear together in the Monroe, M.I., 1880 census. I am trying to determine if they are the parents of Nettie, born 1884-1886, Monroe, M.I. and the niece of my Great Grandmother, Ellen Pecott. Ellen did have another sister named Victoria ,but a Nettie Lohner described as a "niece" was living with Alice Pecott, another sister, in Monroe in the 1900 census and later with her in California.
I have pictures of Nettie and I'm trying to determine just where she fits in. Thank you for any help you can provide.
