I am looking for information about my great grandfather JOSEPH HENRI LOISELLE born in 1844 and who married Amanda DOUTRE sister of Joseph DOUTRE.
They had four children of whom: LUCIA who married Gilbert LANGLOIS in Beauharnois (or St-Timothée) around 1890's or early 1900's. They are my greand parents on my mother's side. The other children were: EMILE, HÉLÈNE (who became Mrs. Jules (Julien) Ratelle, and another son whose name was JOHN??? (also nicknames "Tidou". The latter was a veteran from WWI.
Joseph Henri LOISELLE owned a General store in St-Anicet; he died in Verdun on 21st July 1931 and was buried in Côte des Neiges cemetery in Montreal on 23rd July 1931.
I would appreciate very much receving any information concerning this great grandfather since this is all that I need to complete our family tree.
