Loman Family Genealogy Forum

Sarah Loman was my ggrandmother. I thought my ggrandfather was Wm. H. Dooley (same name as my grandfather, but FHC has her marriage to James W. Dooley in 1859 in Jersey City. In 1870 census she is listed in Paterson along with Charles Loman, Hannah Loman, Wm. H. Dooley age 50-something, my gf Wm. H. Dooley age 5 and several other children. Charles Loman is listed as being from PA. Sarah is listed as born in NJ. Does anyone recognise any of these names. Both Charles Loman and William H. Dooley were listed as railroad engineers. My gfather William was also a railroad man, as was his brother Frank Dooley, who featured in a cigarette ad in late 1930's or early 1940's. He drove the train that took FDR to his vacation home in upstate NY. I know a lot about my gfather but nothing about his parents except for the census info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
