Paula,
I've been researching my "Loman" genealogy for several years. My great grandfather, George Franklin Loman was b. 1861 in the Carolina's. His parents died in 1866 of a great tradgedy. He had a brother John that migrated to Mexico. The family lost contact with this John. Descendants of this John came to El Paso and visited my aunt several years ago hunting for relatives and she never told anyone. I think that her husband (a Loman) had just died of cancer or was in the hospital on his deathbed. Anyway, we just might have connection. Please contact me at: chrmann@hotmail.com
Did your Loman ancestor marry a "morman"?
My George named his firstborn, Louis.
