Loman origins

My research is too new to be of help on the Loman origin question. I'm more inclined to see the possibility that the Lowmans are related somehow; moreso, than the Lohmans. I suppose the Lomans could be Scotch-Irish, but my grandmother told me the Lomans were Dutch. Unhappily, I have not been able to trace back very many generations. My G-g-g-grandfather lived and died in KY.
