As far as I know my name's really Dutch..

Lomans can de described as :

Lo or Loo meaning bos(nl) or forrest(eng)
Mans means mensen(nl) or people(eng)

So Lo(o)mans is an name meaning forrestpeople. This could be right hanse the fact that when names were choosen, the netherlands was one forrest.

As far as I know my ancestors originated from a town called Haarlem (the Netherlands)
