William O Lomax and Louisa Beasley Weakley CO TN
I am looking for information on William O ( W. O.) Lomax and Louisa Beasley who were married in Weakley Co TN. 16 May 1896.Another marriage for W.O and Hattie J Smith on 17 Nov 1894 in Weakley CO.
In the 1900 Weakley Co TN census, Series T623 Roll 1605 pg 178, we have William O age 27,b Oct 1872, Louisa E age 36 b Jan 1864, Roy R b Nov 1898 and Royal H b 26 Dec 1899.
In 1910 Royal and Roy are in the Tennessee Industrial and Preparatory School in Davidson Co TN, Series: T624 Roll 1494 pg 128.This was an orphanage.I do not find William and Louisa after the 1900 census. In 1920, Royal, age 20, is back in Weakley Co, Series: T625 Roll 1771 pg 117 with wife Anna L, age 19.Roy H died at the age of 17 at the school according to his TN Death Certificate, on 8 May 1915.Buried at Dresden TN, no cemetery listed. No parents listed in the DC.
Then in 1930, Royal, age 30, is found in the Ingham Co Michigan census, do not have the series, with wife,Anna L age 29 and son, Edwin L age 3.He is buried in the Dimondale Cemetery, Dimondale, Eaton Co Michigan along with spouse, Leona M (1919-2007).
Louisa E Beasley Lomax was the daughter of Asa/Acey Beasley, Confederate soldier, b 4 May 1830 in Graves Co KY and died 29 Apr 1910 in Weakley co TN.Her mother was Martha Ann Price b ca 1832 and died bef 1897 in Weakley Co.
Any help as to the death dates and burial places of William, Louisa and Roy will be greatly appreciated. And also descendants of Edwin L Lomax b 1927.He probably stayed in Michigan.
