Services for Ernest "Brother Bee" Londo Jr., 62, will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at the Journet and Bolden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elder Roland Jones officiating. Internment will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be observed from 7:30 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
A native of Jefferson Island and resident of New Iberia for more than 60 years, Mr. Londo died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at Dauterive Hospital following a brief illness.
He was employed for many years as a custodian and maintenance keeper for the St. Edward Housing Complex and was also employed by the Landry Family of New Iberia.
Survivors include three sons, Ernest Randall of Abbeville, Nathan Barnes and Calvin Randall both of New Iberia; nine daughters, Samantha Barnes, Mildred Barnes, Ericka Bowie, Lois Randal, Elnora Barnes, Virginia A. James, Paula A. Crosby, Shelia A. Crosby, and Frances A. Joseph; and three sisters, his very special sister, Mary Lou Galentine of New Iberia, Stella Mae Londo and Louella Bobb.
Mr. Londo was preceded in death by one son, DeWayne Randall; one daughter, Joyce Randall; parents, Ernest and Elnora Londo; and two brothers, Leroy Londo and OzeMae Londo.
Pallbearers will be Cornell Galentine, Rubin Sims, Leanard January, Maurice Ruffin, Randy Galentine and Ernest Randall.
Journet and Bolden Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
