Hello Rose

I don't know if this will fit, but I have an ancestors from 2 Monkwell street. John Muckle, wife Catherine and children lived there at least from 1840 till 1857. John's daughter Amelia married a William George Houghton on 15-12-1840 at St Leonards. William was the son of Isaac.

Does my William sound like a brother of your Henry. I have no knowledge of his birth apart from dates on other certificates, which indicate a birth abt 1820.

Garry
