I think you would enjoy reading some biographical information about Isaac Longenbach on the web. Go to http://www.edenmartin.com/counties/pickaway/toc.htm and then click on the link for Isaac Longenbach. There I saw that one of his daughters was Mrs. Sarah Jane Shride. In genforum.com's message board for Shelby County Illinois, Terry Longenbach graciously advised me on April 11, 2000 that this Sarah Jane was the wife of Frank Shride and that her sister Emma Hattie married Fletcher Shride. I'm looking for the parents of Harley Shride of Shelby County whose son (my father-in-law) was born in 1913. Harley married Julia Mae Hatcher whose parents were John H. and Sarah Jane Hatcher. The Hatcher Shride and Longenbach families apparently made basically the same moves from southeastern Pennsylvania to central Ohio to south central Illinois.
